My son and I were going gold prospecting and came across this bush fire that was burning on both sides of the highway. It was probably started by lightning from a large storm that has been hanging around for the last few days. This was the second day that this particular fire had been burning and it has burnt a huge area.

I went gold prospecting with my son early this morning. We arrived at our chosen spot just before sunrise and while my son started looking for gold with his detector, I wandered off with my camera to see if I could get a couple of decent photos.
